1. I know you, but some people may not. So could you please introduce yourself to the world? "My name is Kimi Alexander. I was born and raised in Ontario, on the border of Minnesota. I am a mixed race actress." 2. What was your first job in the entertainment industry? Also, what did you do before that? "My first paid tv show was iZombie. My very first acting gig was a student film called Leviathan. Before acting in the industry I had spent many years competing in badminton, squash, and figure skating." 3. Did you study acting before getting into the industry? "Yes, I studied for 3 years while doing my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Film before getting into the industry, and have been training every since in film classes consistently." 4. If you could work with anyone you'd want, who would that person be and why? "I would love to work with Anne Hathaway or Meryl Streep. I enjoy so much of their work and character and think it would be incredible to see them acting live." 5. What does a normal day in your life looks like? "A day in the life looks different every day, it can vary. It’s often a variety of these things: auditions, studying, acting, producing, working out, watching tv, researching, computer work." 6. Where is your favorite place to be and why? "My favourite place to be is anywhere with good sunny hot weather and near water, lately that has been Mexico specifically. I love the sun because I love to be warm and tanning is my favourite way to relax and clear my mind." 7. If you could, what would be the one advice you would want to give to your younger self? "I would tell my younger self to be more healthy. I am very healthy now, but I went through a very strong poutine and chips faze for awhile." 8. What is one of the best advice that you've got? Who was the person that gave it to you? "My favourite advice is my dad saying to not worry about judgement about what other people think. I applied it my whole life and feel so free for being myself." 9. What is your biggest accomplishment so far? "My biggest accomplishments so far are medaling at OFSAA and getting a role in Supernatural." 10. If you could book any role in the next years to come, what would that dream role be? "My dream is to have a lead role in a sitcom. Also, having a bada** role in a movie like Fast and the Furious would be a dream role." 11. Is there anything you can disclose about any new project? "I can say that you can catch me in the upcoming tv series Tribal!" 12. What is the best part about life on set? "Best part about life on set is after they call action, the moment where your in the body of your character is a fun adrenaline and creative experience for me. The second best part is food being provided, I love food and they usually have much tastier eats than what I’m able to cook haha." 13. In the end, is there anything you'd like to say to the people who support you? "I am so grateful for my parents, my best friend Mady and my boyfriend Trevor. I wouldn’t be who I am without them in my life and their support means the world! I also am so grateful to have the support of my fans that have been here, sending words of support, commenting such lovely things and even some beautiful drawings and photo art. I appreciate that they are so exited to watch me grow and have been here as early as the start and early stages of my career! I want to be a good role model and to inspire everyone to pursue what fills them with joy!"
