1. I know you, but some people may not.
So could you please introduce yourself to the world?

"Hello, My name is Bayardo De Murguia. You killed my father…prepare to—just kidding. I am a Latinx actor and voice-over artist. Also, Princess Bride is still an all-time favorite movie."

2. What was your first job in the entertainment industry?
Also, what did you do before that?

"My first job in the theatre world was performing at the Old Globe in San Diego, California. I took part in the summer Shakespeare Festival as an actor and had an incredible experience. My first job on TV was a guest starring role on CSI as Agent Silva. Before that, as an artist trying to make a little extra income, I was making mean cocktails behind a bar."

3. Did you study acting before getting into the industry?

"I fell into acting while studying at the University of San Diego. I went there to play football and during my early years, I took a movement class and fell in love with the theatre. I ended up changing my major and graduated with a degree in theatre."

4. If you could work with anyone you'd want,
who would that person be and why?

"Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. I have always been a fan of his work and of what he has done for Mexico and cinema. It would be an honor to tell a story with him."

5. What does a normal day in your life looks like?

"I’m currently working on a new original Netflix series in Toronto. Every day is an adventure consisting of rehearsals, gym time, and then putting it all together with the cast and crew on set. When I’m not working, I’m running around Los Angeles, auditioning for both TV and voice-over trying to remind myself to relax and always enjoy the day."

6. Where is your favorite place to be and why?

"On my motorcycle riding up the California coast. It grounds me, settles me, and reminds me to let go."

7. If you could, what would be the one advice
you would want to give to your younger self?

"Stay focused and keep a balance. Sometimes it can get hectic. Worrying about rent, social lives, just trying to live in the city. Always keep a focus on why you are pursuing your art. At the same time, keep a balance. Find your rock outside of the business and stay grounded."

8. What is one of the best advice that you've got?
Who was the person that gave it to you?

"My best friend of twenty-eight years who is not an actor, but a hard working father reminds me to work hard, stay humble, and always smile. I come from an immigrant family who worked very hard for what we have. No one deserves anything. As quickly as something happens, it can be taken away. Work hard, stay humble, always smile."

9. What is your biggest accomplishment so far?

"I have some great voice-over projects coming up in 2020, but the thing I’m most excited about is my series regular role of Ramon Costa on Netflix’s new original series, Tiny Pretty Things."

10. If you could book any role in the next years to come,
what would that dream role be?

"I’m looking forward to more opportunities in features and on television that are more inclusive of people of color. I moved here from Tijuana, Mexico and grew up in So Cal so representation has always been important to me."

11. Is there anything you can disclose about any new project?

"The Netflix series I’m working on, Tiny Pretty Things, is a wonderful adaptation of the YA book of the same name. The show dives into the world of ballet and on what happens at a prestigious ballet academy. So far, I’m amazed at how talented my co stars are and am looking forward to the final product. Our ten-episode first season will be available for streaming in 2020."

12. What is the best part about life on set?

"The people I meet and work alongside. We all have a great story to tell, and I love hearing them all."

13. In the end, is there anything you'd like to say
to the people who support you?

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I am forever grateful. All I can do is continue to work hard to make you proud."
