1. I know you, but some people may not.
So could you please introduce yourself to the world?

"My name’s Andrew Dunbar. I’m an actor and filmmaker."

2. What was your first job in the entertainment industry?
Also, what did you do before that?

"I did some small stuff like music videos and a reenactment on a local TV show when I was younger, but my first real job as an actor was on Battlestar Galactica. My call time was extremely early in the morning and I was ready to shoot before the sun came up. They shot all day and never got to my scene so they had me come back the next day, when I did eventually get to shoot my scene. I got paid to eat, read a book and nap a couple times the first day, and to shoot guns and get killed by a swarm of alien bugs the second day. At 18 it was the best job I’d ever had and I fell in love."

3. Did you study acting before getting into the industry?

"I did a few plays and took drama in high school and enjoyed it, but I didn’t really know what acting or being an actor was. So, when I was 17 I flew to LA with a backpack in a to attempt to find out and to see if it was what I wanted to do with my life. I stayed for about 3 months and took classes, met a bunch of really cool musicians and actors, went to plays, spent all my money, and had an awesome trip. I decided I wanted to study and learn more but couldn't stay in the US, so I moved to Vancouver and went to school for acting."

4. If you could work with anyone you'd want,
who would that person be and why?

"That’s a toughie. Lots of cool people out there, but I think if I had to chose right now it’d be Seinfeld. He’s one of the funniest guys there is. I’m not sure in what capacity we would possibly work together though. It may just be more fun to hang out and have a couple beers with him."

5. What does a normal day in your life look like?

"I usually start with a coffee somewhere in my neighborhood early in the morning with my new daughter strapped into a carrier on my chest. Then head home for breakfast with the rest of the family before I take my son to preschool or the park. During the day sometimes there’ll be an audition, or a meeting, or a writing session for something I’m working on, and then supper as a family unit before my kids hit the sac. Then my wife and I will have some hang out time and maybe get an episode in."

6. Where is your favorite place to be and why?

"I’m the happiest out in nature. Camping, touring in a Camper van, or at a cabin in the woods or on the ocean. Preferably somewhere new, warm and beautiful with my Fam Jam."

7. If you could, what would be the one advice
you would want to give to your younger self?

"Start writing. Start creating and making your own stuff now."

8. What is one of the best advice that you've got?
Who was the person that gave it to you?

"I grew up loving Jim Carrey and he’s had some pretty great quotes along the way. I think this is one of my favorites. <You can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love> - Jim Carrey"

9. What is your biggest accomplishment so far?

"My kids. They’re the coolest thing I’ve ever been a part of by a long shot. And my wife. She’s a babe."

10. If you could book any role in the next years to come,
what would that dream role be?

"A friend and I have been creating a comedy series called Bachelor Daddies over the past couple of years so I guess if we were able to make that, which would be pretty sweet."

11. Is there anything you can disclose about any new project?

"FALL BACK DOWN, a feature punk RomCom I produced and star in, is premiering at the Whistler Film Festival this year on December 5th @ 8:30pm & the 6th @ 3pm. I’m so excited about the way this film turned out and we can’t wait to share it with everyone at the festival. We hope to release the film next year to the public. Stay tuned on instagram @FBD_FILM... I just finished work on a Netflix horror called There’s Someone Inside Your House directed by Patrick Brice. He’s made some great films so I was pumped to be a part of it. Was a cool script and I’m super excited to see how it turns out."

12. What is the best part about life on set?

"The food for sure. And being surrounded by other creative people that have put it all on the line in one form or another to do what they love."

13. In the end, is there anything you'd like to say to the people who support you?

"I’d say Thanks, I guess."
